Shibazaki who has almost lost everything still doing his best to investigate this case as a detective despite not having the status anymore. Twelve who was always more open then Nine opening up even more and thinking that there may be a life outside of the revenge that they’re trying to get. Overall: This episode is heart breaking, it’s a boiling point for a lot of the characters development. Despite knowing it’s a trap he heads out to get her against Nine’s requests.
If there is anyone in this series without worth, it’s Five.Īnyway, Twelve plans to follow Lisa when he gets a text showing her as a captive. Say all of that to the obviously depressed girl who has been all around dejected by society. She calls Lisa a useless girl, a burden, says she should of died back in episode one rather then chose to become an accomplice. Lisa gets captured by Five who only serves to make me angrier at her. Five watches her run away and to go with this episodes title we hear the best Engrish she’s had all series of her singing “My fair lady.” to be honest, it’s actually rather creepy. However, Lisa not wanting to be a continued burden on them runs away from the new HQ leaving behind a note. Nine can’t let go of the past where it seems like Twelve has found some kind of future. They are given the business card of one government official that took one of the kids away.Īs for Twelve and Nine, the rift between them is obviously due to Twelves emotions towards Lisa. They go to all the orphanages in the area and ask around, but nobody seems to know where these kids were taken. They discuss how they tested all the orphans in the country and gathered gifted children. I’ll talk about the conflict between Nine and Twelve later, first let’s focus on Shibazaki and the other cop that come to join him. Shibazaki using the fact he’s probably going to be fired anyway and has nothing left to lose so he’s using any means to find out about this project and by extension Sphinx. Now things are starting to come together to make sense. The members of the Rising Peace Academy spearheaded the project. I also think it has something to do with his relationship with Lisa.Ībout ten years ago, there was something called the Athena Project that was set to teach gifted children. Oh I see a bunch of potential for wonderful drama. Nine wants to accelerate the plans a bit but Twelve…wants to stop doing this. We cut off to Five where she’s scolded for taking such drastic measures and is told to dial it back a bit. The whole place blows but on the bright side they don’t have to eat mystery food X.
Oh wait, I did! I wonder if it was set to blow anyway and my idea was useless or if there was some kind of trigger.Īt least she runs out of the apartment.
“BOMB” well I can’t say I didn’t see that one coming. She opens the envelope on the top and it says one word. I might of signed for it and taken it but I would of set it outside and waited for Nine and Twelve to come back. The doorbell rings and there is a package for her, does this not raise ANY sort of red flag? How did they know where to ship too? She’s a run away, this is nowhere near her home address. Then we cut to Lisa making mystery food X, I think she seriously just put pocky in curry. His daughter studies science and he goes to talk to her about if plutonium can be made into a bomb. He has a daughter? That’s really cute, I like seeing this side of characters like him. Lisa awakes to a note telling her not to go outside and then we cut again to Shibazaki who is talking with his daughter. The situation here seems to be worse then they assumed. The US Intelligence Support Activity special ops unit. So Shibazaki is speaking to one of the higher ups and finds out that Five was transferred from the ISA. Alright, I’m going to calm down for the rest of the post. They make him leave his badge.īITCH, FUCKING BITCH. Shibazaki says he saw Sphinx with his own eyes, that the bomb wasn’t theirs. Shibazaki who was already in trouble gets suspended for a indefinite amount of time. Don’t they understand what these guys did? I honestly get it but this pisses me off so badly. I understand chain of command and everything. YOU’VE GOTTA BE KIDDING ME, THE POLICE IN THIS ARE SO FUCKING STUPID IT HURTS. On top of being suspended, they are taken off the case. They broke the rules and left the station when they were ordered not to but they saved hundreds of lives. The cops who went out of their way and left the station to support Shibazaki and Shibazaki are suspended for three months. The first 3 minutes and 53 seconds into this episode I want to punch someone. Zankyou No Terror episode 8, my fair lady.
